Source of Funds / Source of Wealth
Document Options:
All documents must be issued in the correct name and dated.
Provided documents must be clear, visilble and show issuer's name and details.
Please find below a list of acceptable documentation, depending on the source of funds and/ or wealth:
Sales Revenue / Business Earnings
- The latest balance sheet or profit and loss statement, signed by a certified accountant or auditor.
- Recent tax declaration mentioning business revenue.
- Bank statements from the last 3 months showing financial flows related to business revenue.
Customer Funds
- Recent invoices or purchase orders proving the origin of customer funds.
- Bank statements showing customer payments over the last 3 to 6 months.
- Signed commercial contracts or agreements with key customers.
Investors Funds
- Signed contracts or financing agreements with investors.
- Proof of funds transfer (bank statements or wire transfer receipts).
- Documents evidencing the investors' identity and source of wealth (e.g., KYC documents, shareholder registry).
Company Treasury
- Recent audited financial statements.
- Documents showing company reserves (e.g., balance sheets, treasury statements).
- Proof of ownership or company registration details.
Crowdfunding
- Proof of crowdfunding campaign (platform screenshots, campaign details).
- Statements from the crowdfunding platform showing raised funds and contributors.
- Tax or legal documents confirming the receipt of funds through crowdfunding.
Investment Returns
- Statements showing returns on investment from financial institutions or brokers.
- Tax declarations reporting investment income.
- Recent portfolio valuations or dividend payment receipts.
Loan / Debt Financing
- Loan agreement or contract detailing the loan amount, terms, and lender identity.
- Bank statements showing the loan disbursement.
- If private loans: Signed affidavit or notarized agreement with the lender, along with proof of their identity and source of funds.
ICO / IPO
- Documentation of the ICO/IPO process, such as the whitepaper, offering circular, or prospectus.
- Proof of proceeds from the ICO/IPO (e.g., blockchain explorer for crypto funds or bank statements for fiat).
- Tax or legal filings related to the ICO/IPO.
Grant
- Official grant award letter or agreement signed by the awarding institution.
- Proof of fund disbursement (bank statements or payment confirmations).
- Supporting documentation from the awarding entity (e.g., grant purpose, institution credentials).
